“May the Lord give strength to his people!

May the Lord bless his people with peace!” (Psalm 29:11- RSVCE)

Reflection

Time boundaries do not limit the effectiveness of God’s blessings. Prayers invoked thousands of years ago are just as effective today as they will be thousands of years from now.

We are all made by the same Creator, and His blessings extend to all generations. God’s blessings are gifts for all of us.

Today’s Intention: O Lord, may your blessings of strength and peace help us bring about unity to those we encounter today.

Peace and Goodness

Beatitude #1 – Blessed are the poor in spirit

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” (Mathew 5:3)

Let’s pray for our heart to yearn the divine; to detach itself from the false security worldly goods provide.

Let’s pray for the poor; may God provide them consolation and inspire us to have compassion for them; may we learn from the poor’s faith and resolve.

My Strength

“I can do all things in him who strengthens me. ~ Philippians 4:13

I draw resilience from this verse when I feel lonely or gloomy, especially during troubled times. I make an effort to be alert when my humanity wants to distract me from the truth: that we are never alone; along the way, in every situation, God is with us.

When I place my faith in God, not in people, I am never weak; I am a child of light.

May you have a blessed day.
