God, thanks for this week. Thanks for keeping me safe while traveling. More importantly, thanks for keeping my family safe. Thanks also for the opportunity you gave my coworkers and I to perform acts of kindness toward our fellow brothers and sisters on this day. Thanks for our employer for empowering us to do so.
As this day comes to an end, I pray for all travelers; may they return safely to their homes. I also pray for the poor, the afflicted and the suffering; bless them with the joy and consolation that only you can provide.
I ask this through your son Jesus Christ, amen.
