“Follow me.” (Luke 5:27)

Reflection:

What a beautiful command: “Follow me.” We are all invited to follow Jesus in unity, because we all form part of his body, the Church.

Christians and non-Christians, Democrats, Independents, or Republicans. We are all children of one Creator. Let us seek to unite, not to divide.

Today’s Intention:

Lord, we ask that you remove the barriers that divide us and direct our hearts to follow you.

One-Minute Reflection Psalm 29:11 (30 Days of Prayers for Unity #18)

“May the Lord give strength to his people!

May the Lord bless his people with peace!” (Psalm 29:11- RSVCE)

Reflection

Time boundaries do not limit the effectiveness of God’s blessings. Prayers invoked thousands of years ago are just as effective today as they will be thousands of years from now.

We are all made by the same Creator, and His blessings extend to all generations. God’s blessings are gifts for all of us.

Today’s Intention: O Lord, may your blessings of strength and peace help us bring about unity to those we encounter today.
