My Strength

“I can do all things in him who strengthens me. ~ Philippians 4:13

I draw resilience from this verse when I feel lonely or gloomy, especially during troubled times. I make an effort to be alert when my humanity wants to distract me from the truth: that we are never alone; along the way, in every situation, God is with us.

When I place my faith in God, not in people, I am never weak; I am a child of light.
