Last Tuesday, President Obama posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor to Chaplain Emil Kapaun. As a veteran and Christian, I am moved by Fr. Kapaun’s display of brotherhood, compassion, and service for his fellow POW.
Dear God, thanks for the gift of Fr. Kapaun; a model of friendship for us to emulate in our daily lives.
